It has a dual closure with double zippers and snaps and there are breather-hole grommets under the arms, so you don't get too steamy. The oversized collar can be turned up and snapped closed with the additional throat flap and inside the sleeves there are elasticated inner cuffs to keep the wind and rain at bay.
Across the back of the jacket there's a large utility pocket that zips open and closed from both sides, which is in fitting with a traditional English-style hunting jacket. This jacket should not be worn overly fitted, though it does have a small drop from chest to waist, it is more of a regular fit and should be worn slightly oversized to throw over your other layers when required.
